AMD has launched a New Pro Edition 22.Q3 driver for AMD Radeon Pro GPUs can deliver a significant 3D performance boost in Solidworks and other OpenGL applications.
In order to improve performance in CAD and other 3D programs that rely on the OpenGL graphics API, AMD has released a new professional graphics driver. This includes McNeel Rhino, Trimble SketchUp, Autodesk Maya, and Dassault Systèmes Solidworks.
Radeon Pro GPUs from both recent and earlier generations can be used with the redesigned driver (AMD Software: Pro Edition 22.Q3) which promises up to 72% improvement over the previous driver.
