XYZ Reality, a construction technology company, announces the official integration of The Atom, its engineering-grade AR headset, with Autodesk® BIM 360®, a construction management solution that is part of Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders’ network, and predictive insights for construction teams. 

‘The Atom, which combines a construction safety headset, augmented reality displays, and on-board processing capacity, allows construction crews to examine and position models stored in BIM 360 on-site to ‘millimeter accuracy.’

  • Issues can also be created and viewed in BIM 360 (containing Navisworks models) or The Atom by design and construction teams. 
  • The integration allows users to feed into Navisworks’ huge, multi-layer federated models and manage disciplines in the field. Issues can be directed to specific individuals and models, allowing for real-time information interchange between The Atom and all of its interrelated components. 
  • The Atom combines construction safety headgear, AR (augmented reality) displays, and on-board processing capacity, allowing construction crews to examine and position models stored in BIM 360 on-site to millimeter accuracy 
  • By integrating The Atom and BIM 360, construction professionals will be able to make better, more informed decisions, decreasing risk and increasing productivity.
