MasterMechanic is the first generative AI tool for HVAC technicians, offering clear and precise step-by-step solutions. It uses a combination of different machine learning approaches – Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) in high dimensional vector space, and fine-tuned large language models (LLMs).
MasterMechanic is trained on Bluon’s comprehensive HVAC data, which includes nearly 50,000 real-world problem-solution scenarios and insights from top mechanics in the field. This data covers a wide range of HVAC issues across various system types, from residential to complex commercial units. This enables the system to understand queries and provide immediate solutions.
The tool is available in the beta stage for the public.
