Despite terraforming efforts, temperature variations on the red planet are inevitable, and we need structures that can not only endure these extreme conditions but also provide a stable foundation for our new way of life on the red planet. Creating a habitable Mars is a vision that is still a few years away from realization, but the journey toward this goal is already underway. We must not abandon our efforts and abuse resource use. Instead, we must prioritize sustainability while advancing scientific frontiers.
