Bamboo has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than wood, steel, and other traditional construction material. Meaning, engineered bamboo products provide the same strength and durability as these materials while being much lighter.

Bamboo has good thermal stability, meaning, it does not expand or contract with temperature changes.
